Join retired TV news reporter Dave Lopez for a talk about his autobiography, "It's a Great Life if You Don't Weaken," on Wednesday, July 19 from 2-4 pm at the Downey City Library in Downtown Downey.
In his book, Lopez shares stories from his 48-year career in journalism, including covering some of the biggest news stories in Southern California history. He also writes about his personal life, including his family, his faith, and his battle with cancer.
The event is free and open to the public.
Dave Lopez is a retired TV news reporter who spent 43 years at CBS2 and KCAL9. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including 11 Emmys and a Peabody Award.
