National Night Out is an annual event that takes place on the first Tuesday in August. The goal of National Night Out is to promote community-police partnerships and to strengthen neighborhood spirit.
In Downey, National Night Out will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 1, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Downey Civic Center. There will be free food, drinks, children's activities, information booths, and more.
The event is free and open to the public. Plenty of parking is available throughout Downtown Downey.
