Depeche Mode tribute show coming to Downey Theatre

Fans of synth-pop and alternative rock will have a chance to revisit the music of one of the genre’s most influential bands when Devotional – The Depeche Mode Experience performs at the Downey Theatre on June 12.

The tribute show is scheduled for Friday, June 12 at 8 p.m. Tickets went on sale March 3 and range from $53 to $55.75. They are available online at downeytheatre.org or through the Downey Theatre box office at (562) 861-8211.

Fronted by Freddie Morales, Devotional recreates the sound and stage presence of the legendary British band Depeche Mode, performing many of its best-known songs including “Enjoy the Silence,” “Personal Jesus,” and “Just Can’t Get Enough.”

The tribute act has been performing internationally for more than 15 years, appearing at theaters, casinos, festivals and special events. The group aims to replicate the energy and production style associated with Depeche Mode’s concerts while introducing new audiences to the band’s catalog.

Downey Theatre officials say the performance offers local music fans a chance to experience the band’s iconic sound live through a tribute production known for its polished musicianship and immersive stage show.

The box office is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
