Mark your calendars because the date has been announced for Downey's Dia de los Muertos Festival.
The festival returns to Downey on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 am to 8 pm. More details will be released soon but past festivals have featured live musical and dance performances, film screenings, a mercado, altars, and much more.
The festival is held annually at the Downey Civic Center, with performances inside the Downey Theatre.
