Championship Match Viewing Party coming to Downtown Downey

Soccer fans will have a new place to gather, cheer and spend the day with family and friends when a Championship Match Viewing Party takes over Downtown Downey on Sunday, July 19.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and feature a large-screen viewing experience in the heart of downtown, giving fans a chance to watch the championship match in a lively community setting.

But the day will offer much more than soccer. Visitors can browse more than 80 small business vendors, grab a bite from food trucks, visit a petting zoo and check out a soccer experience designed for kids.

The viewing party is being produced by Downey Collective and is part of the growing lineup of community events bringing people into Downtown Downey.
