Looking for a unique and thoughtful way to celebrate Dad this Father’s Day? The Downey City Library has you covered with a fun — and totally free — Father’s Day photoshoot on Wednesday, June 11.
From 1 to 6 p.m., families are invited to stop by the library for a casual, come-as-you-are photoshoot. No appointments are necessary and the event is open to all ages. Whether you're celebrating your dad, grandpa, uncle, or another father figure, this is a great opportunity to make memories and take home a high-quality keepsake.
The library will provide a festive backdrop, classic props, and professional-grade lighting to help you strike the perfect pose. It’s a great chance for families to snap a special photo together — whether you're dressed to impress or just dropping by after school or work.
Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis inside the library. And yes — you can bring the whole family.
The Downey City Library is located at 11121 Brookshire Ave. For more information, call (562) 904-7360 or visit downeyca.org/library.
