Applications are now being accepted to participate in the 71st annual Downey Christmas Parade, taking place Sunday, Dec. 4, starting at 1 pm.
The parade begins at Downey and Florence avenues and heads south through Downtown Downey before ending at the civic center.
The parade is produced annually by the Downey Chamber of Commerce. Financial Partners Credit Union is this year's title sponsor.
